I am really new in this, I have never used a VPS!
What I want to do is to install an application which will run in permanence and will exchange (in & out) info with a data server.
I looking for a VPS since the application needs to run 24h/24h even if I am not on the computer. I will be the only user, I may want to access the cloud from various computers.
On my computer, its very easy, I download the application, install it ... and that's all, I can start the application and login on the data server and do what I want trough the application.

I registered for the 2 weeks free trial ... but it does not seem so easy that on my computer ...:).

Where do I start?

I have installed the Slave, and was attempting to add it a a Virtual Host, however I a getting a "No Volume Group Found"

I tried to create the LMV but it keeps erroring out/

No physical volume label read from /dev/sda3
Can't open /dev/sda3 exclusively. Mounted filesystem?
Unable to add physical volume '/dev/sda3' to volume group 'LVM'.
